Duane Betts

Duane Betts’ session was as unforced as it gets, a natural hang with musicians, Red Bull, significant others, and new music. Betts shared two songs from his new album Isle of Hope, and an impromptu bonus track at the end featuring his interpretation of The Smashing Pumpkins’ “Spaceboy.”

The album started to take shape when Betts played a voice memo of the song “Reckless” to guitarist and friend J.D. Simo. Simo put Betts in touch with producer Dave Cobb, and they got to work.
